IDTM – Integrity Policy

IDTM respects the personal information of individuals, by protecting and safeguarding personal data. This integrity policy explains how IDTM processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The personal data is information that can be linked to a person. It would be, for example, a name, an address, an e-mail address and a mobile phone number, as well as photographs and recordings. Actions taken with personal data are regarded as processing of personal data. Some of the examples of the processing of data are: information collection, registration, storage, transfer, and deletion.

IDTM’s aim and purpose in processing personal data is primarily to carry out its obligations of public interest. The processing can also be part of the exercise of our public authority in accordance with the country’s legislation and European law. IDTM also needs to process personal data to administer its operations. Processing may also be necessary to complete legal obligations or to observe an agreement. In cases where it is necessary for IDTM to be able to manage its tasks and assignments we share personal data with companies that process the information on our behalf and according to our instructions and agreements, ie. the personal data processor. IDTM uses external consultants, for instance, in IT maintenance, financial consultants, etc.

IDTM will not store your personal data for longer than is necessary. (In accordance with the GDPR.)

If you would like to enquire about personal information that IDTM has collected or processed, you have the right to do so. A request should be made by e-mail and IDTM shall send the extract to the applicant within one month of receipt of your application.

For Data subjects where IDTM is a processor and not a controller, IDTM will inform the accountable organization about your request. Please note that in that case IDTM is not responsible for providing you with information within 30 days. We would then recommend that athletes contact their federations for such inquiries.
